Yes. Each member must bring a cake (homemade or store-bought from a local bakery).
You can pre-order from a licensed local baker via ZestyBakers.com – pickup will be coordinated separately before the event. You can also support any other local baker or bakery that you want. Large chains (Costco, Safeway, etc.) are not encouraged.
Memberships are non-transferable. If you pre-ordered a cake and can’t attend, email us, and we can help coordinate.
Yes of course! We can never have too much cake! We only request that you follow the same rules for each cake that you choose to bring.
Sweet, savory, gluten-free, vegan, crepe-style—anything goes as long as it holds at room temperature. This is an outdoor event in the warmer months, so we discourage you from bringing milk, cheese, or sourcream cream-based cakes.
No. Full cakes only. However, cupcakes/cookies presented as a single cake are welcome (and kind of genius!)
If you don’t want to bake yourself, no problem! You can bring any locally brought cake (no grocery store cakes).
Zesty has curated a catalogue of beautiful cakes from local licensed bakers who would love to bake for you! Zesty is also discounting these cakes for the cake meet-up.
You can simply purchase the Membership + Cake option and sit back and relax!
Yes, but label clearly. Cakes with common allergens will be placed on marked tables. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment as cross-contamination is possible in community events. If you have a very severe or life-threatening allergic reaction, we recommend you exercise caution.
You can bring cakes that suit your dietary needs. Clearly label ingredients. We can’t ensure allergen-free cakes when you get slices for yourself. This is a community event, and cross-contamination is possible. We request that you use your best judgment.
A great mood to enjoy the day and:
